Hello Iran. Bye bye Turkey.


At 45 *C the sun is burning our dry and dusty skin. Two hours after we left Hakkari and two speedy lifts at 130 km/h on serpentine mountain roads we are now at the small Esendere-Sero border between Turkey and Iran. It's a bunch of houses and a parking with trucks in the middle of nowhere. The small shop doesn't sell water. The exchange rates are lousy. The Turkey leg of our trip ends here. Let's summarize our experiences here in plain English:
